Arnav touched the monitor to confirm what he was seeing was real… His eyes fixed on the small moment of the fetus on the screen…

“Mrs. Raizada… This is your child” doctor said showing the monitor with small figure..

“My baby” Khushi whispered…

The doctor nodded looking at the couple…

Arnavji… MY Baby” Khushi said getting his attention…

Arnav gathered her in his arms and whispered.. “Our Baby” saying he kissed her forehead…

Arnav brought Khushi inside their room with Khushi’s eyes close using Arnav’s palm… He made her stand and slowly removed his palm…

Khushi’s eyes widened seeing the sonogram picture of their baby. She looked at her husband for a minute and again looked at the picture…

“Thanks” Khushi said while touching her belly in one hand and the picture in the other…

Arnav smiled and Kissed her cheek, getting a wide smile and blush from Khushi…

Arnav was sleeping with his hand on Khushi’s stomach… Suddenly he felt something moving under his palm…

He opened his eyes and looked at his hand which was kept on Khushi’s stomach..

He felt baby Kicking…. His face brighten…

“Khushi.. Khushi.. Wake up.. Khushi” called Arnav..

Khushi opened her eyes reluctantly feeling tired due to her pregnancy..

“Arnavji…”

“Khushi… Our Baby… Our Baby is moving.. Our Baby is moving..” said Arnav caressing their baby…

Khushi’s eyes widened in realisation…

She placed her hand about Arnav’s, she looked Arnav in tears and whispered ‘Baby’  which was not audible to either of them…

Arnav smiled seeing the sleeping beauty on his bed.. His world had changed entirely after this Angel Who entered into his life..

This Angel was his love now..

Yes, He loves her.. He loves her with all his heart… He understood his love months back… When he for the first time made love to her…

He started falling for her, for the first time he looked at her eyes when he completed her, filled her…

He like a fool denied all along and kept her away from him…

But this girl broke all the barrier without any effort and invaded his entire being…. He was just waiting for the arrival of his second Angel in his life, so that he can confess his love to them…

He was getting down the steps with Khushi walking two steps ahead… He was just looking at her when he felt her swaying… He rushed to her and held her in his arms before she fell down….

“Khushi” he patted her cheeks..

“Huh?”

Seeing her tiredness, he lifted her and got back to his room..

He gave some water to her and made her relaxed, then dialed their doctor..

“Doctor.. What happened to her?” enquired Arnav..

“Mr. Raizada…. Its normal dizziness and pain only. Keep her happy… Follow the prescription..” saying she left.

Khushi got out of the bathroom with wet hairs. She passed a smile to Arnav who was looking at her… She went and sat on the bed wiping her hair… She was having trouble in wiping it with her big belly. Arnav came behind her, took towel from her, and started wiping her hairs lovingly…

Suddenly Khushi felt a nausea, she was about to stand and rush into washroom, when she puked… She saw someone was holding a hand before her mouth, she looked up to see her husband’s face which was full of concern…

She tried controlling her puke and starting moving towards the restroom, but couldn’t.. She was puking continuously… After few minutes, she was drained off.. Arnav went inside the washroom and washed himself and came out.. He helped Khushi cleaning herself with wet towel and made her laid down on the bed…

“Are you Ok?” asked Arnav..

Khushi nodded and said, “I don’t like the smell of this room”

Arnav nodded, slowly Khushi drifted to sleep.

Khushi opened her eyes after sleeping for hours… She opened her eyes wide to see the entire room filled with white and red roses with a very big white and pink teddy bear in the middle…

She smiled, got up from the bed and went towards it… She picked the teddy bear along with the bouquet of red roses beside it…. She knows who did this.. She kissed the teddy and inhaled the fragrance of the roses….

From that day, Everyday her room will be filled with different fragrance of different flowers… She like this attention from Arnav…

It was Khushi’s baby Shower…….

Khushi got down the stairs..

Khushi was being carried down the stairs by Arnav because her legs were swollen…

The entire mansion was decorated with Pink Roses, Pink Curtains, Pink table cloths, Pink Pink Pink, everywhere was pink… His Wife’s favourite Colour…

His wife was adorned in Red, Red bangles, Red Lehenga , Red Jewells Red Red Red, Everything was red, His Favourite color..

Function was grand affair…

Khushi was sleeping, when she felt something was one the leg.. She woke up and lifted her head slightyl to see her husband was massaging her swollen legs.. She tried removing, but Arnav’s grip become more strong.. So she let him do it and dirfted back to sleep.

Its her 9th month..

Khushi was looking at her room, which was filled with yellow roses, pictures of hers from the time she got married and every stages of her pregnancy on one side and the other side, the sonograms of their child. She looked at her belly and said, “Papa Loves you so much”

Arnav who was standing behind her, wanted to scream at her saying, “ I love your Mom too”

But he didn’t utter anything.. Suddenly he saw Khushi clutching her belly, and tears were flowing…

He rushed towards and held her…

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh”’ Khushi started shouting not able to bear the pain.

Arnav understood her water broke and lifted her to take her to hospital..

Doctor came out of the IC.. Arnav rushed towards..

“Doctor.. My Wife?..  My Baby?” asked Arnav not knowing how to ask their well being..

“Mr.Raizada… I don’t know whether Mrs. Raizada said to you or not” doctor started…

“What?”

“Mr.Raizada… Her pregnancy is kind of complicated one”

“What do you mean?”

“We  can’t do caesarean for her as she is anemic… Normal delivery is possible, but”

“But?”

“But, we may lose either  the baby or the mother”

“What the hell are you saying?” Arnav shouted, for a minute he forgot he was speaking to lady doctor and was about to hold her collar.

“Mr.Raizada?” Doctor said in shock..

“I want my wife and my baby to be perfectly alright” said Arnav in warning tone..

“But Mr.Raizada.. Its highly impossible… We have just 5 % of chance to bring both of them fine. We already said this to your wife sir”

“I don’t know anything… But I want both of them fine… or else I will sue this hospital” Shouted Arnav…

“All we can do is try Mr.Raizada.. Lets Hope for the best”

“Not try.. You have to Doctore.. You have to.. I want them to be fine.. fine.. at least for me.. I have no one other than him”

“I understand.. but we already said to Mr.Raizada when she conceived”

“What are you saying?”

“I know this complexity earlier because her fetus was in fallopian tube instead of womb… I asked her to abort.. but she refused.. she was adamant and also asked me not to say anything to you”

Arnav was shocked with the revelation…

“She said her baby is more important than her.. She asked us to save her baby at any cost”

“No.. This cant be happen.. I can’t let this… She.. She… How could she do this to me?...” Shocked Arnav murmured within himself…

“Mam.. Operation theatre was ready..” said a nurse..

Doctor nodded at her..

“Mr.Raizada… Would you like to stay with you wife inside the OT” asked doctor.

Arnav nodded absent mindedly….

“Khushi… How could you do this to me?”

Khushi understood the question hidden behind this… She looked shocked at doctor…

“Why did you do this?”

Khushi just smiled at him.. and cried.. “Ahhhhhhhhhhhh”

Doctor started their treatment and Khushi was crying in pain…

“Khushi.. you can do this.. I want you to be fine.. Dont lose your hope” said Arnav giving her hope..

“I will not let anything happen to my baby.. Ahhhhhhhhh” Khushi cried touching her belly..

Arnav caught hold of her hands in his grip.. and kissed her forehead…

“Khushi.. relax.. You can do it. please for me”

“Arnavji… Ar… Arnavji… I want to tell you something”

“Tell me Khushi.. speak to me....”

“I don’t know whether I can say this to you again”

“Shhss.. dont say that…”

“I have to… I I I love you Arr Arnavji.. I love you so much”

“I Know Khushi… You dont have to say this”

“No.. I have to.. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh”

Khushi was losing her conscious..

“Mr.Raizada.. Your wife was losing her consciousness.. This is not good.. She was losing so much blood.. speak something to her” said the doctor…

“Khushi… Look at me.. Please Khushi.. dont you want to live with me.”

Khushi nodded…

“I want to Arnavji…”

Khushi was closing her eyes slowly....

“Khushi.. please… come on.. You can do it”

“Mrs. Raizada.. You have to be awake, at least for you baby… try pushing” said doctor..

But Khushi lost all her strength..

Arnav was patting her head asking her wake up..

“No.. You can’t do this to me Khushi.. You can’t”

Khushi closed her eyes completely… Her grip on Arnav’s hands lossened..

Arnav felt her leaving his hand.. Fear of leaving her was unbearable, he held her hand back in his arm…

“Khushi.. please… Open your eyes.. Keep you eyes open Khushi.. look.. We are gonna have our baby.. You can do this.. I want you KHushi… Your baby needs you.. please come back...You know what KHushi…. I love you Khushi… I love you.. Please come back at least for me.. I can’t live without you” Arnav said holding her in arms..

“Sorry Mr.Raizada.. We tried… I thought Mrs.Raizada could do… but she being anemic didn’t help her much” said the doctor feeling sorry for them..

“Noo.. I can’t let this happen.. No.. I want my Khushi” shouted Arnav..

“Khushi… Stop playing.. come back.. Khushi.. Khushi” he was shaking her wildly..

But there was no movement from Khushi…..

Arnav cupped her face..

“I want you Khushi..” saying he kissed her face thoroughly..

Arnav was crying, his tears were mixing with hers on her cheeks… He placed his lips on her, the minute his lips touched hers,

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” Khushi shouted in pain again… It felt as though Arnav got her life back…

Khushi was breathing heavily..

“Nurse.. Patient was awake.. just hold her hand...Mrs.Raizada please push” Doctor said, after seeing her breathing…

Her pulse was getting down.. Arnav was holding her frequently kissing her, telling sweet nothings…

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” The last contradiction hit her.. The room was filled with the cries of baby…

Khushi closed her eyes in content…

Doctor gave the baby to the nurse for cleaning and checked Khushi..

“Both the baby and mother are fine”

Arnav released his breath which he was held for long time..

He looked at his wife’s face which was sweating in tiredness, but still her face was glowing… He went and kissed her forehead..

“Thank You KHushi..., Thank you for coming into my life”

Arnav entered his room, after a very hectic day he had spent in office… Seeing the scene inside his room, brought a smile to his tired face…

There, on his bed, His wife was feeding their daughter caressing her head.

Arnav placed his laptop silently on the table and went towards them.

Khushi smiled seeing him… He just went and sat beside her, hugging her sideways.

Khushi placed her head on his chest….

Arnav felt his life was picture perfect. He held his life and his angel tightly in his arms…
