5S - Are you the magic or tragic of my life?

THIRD SHOT :

Khushi looked at him for a minute, her eyes widened and then she burst out laughing..

Arnav looked at her thinking, ‘Did I said something funny?’. His face turned into confused state seeing her laugh.

“Did I say something wrong?” asked Arnav.

“No No No” said Khushi still laughing.

“I was wondering why it hasn’t started.. You saw me three days before in my shop, yesterday in your studio. How did love hit you so soon? Don’t you think its funny?” said Khushi still laughing at him.

“Khushi.. Im being very serious” said Arnav with serious and sad tone, that she was taking his love as a joke.

“How many of you are like this?” said Khushi stopping her laugh.

Arnav was trying hard to control his rising anger and asked

“How many had proposed to you till now?”

“I lost the count yaar.. From my school to college all the men I met end in these three words.. Moreover.. I dont believe in this love.. I’m not interested” said Khushi shrugging her shoulder.

Arnav don’t know how to explain his love for her..

“Don’t you like me?” asked Arnav praying her to say that she liked him.

“Am I talking to you without liking you?. You do your job.. you are frank, straight forward. You love your job. you got a passion.. I like you.. that’s it” said Khushi in her not caring attitude.

“Then Why?” Arnav said desperately wanting to hear her confession.

“Liking is not love Arnav.  May be just an attraction… I like few things in you, Like wise you do like few things in me.. Dot”

“This is not just a mere attraction.. it’s something beyond that. When I saw you, I had a magical experience. You will never understand it… I got a spark when i met you.. Like that, Don’t you have anything on me?”

“I didn’t get any spark or fire.. nothing..” said Khushi stressing the last word.

“Ohh.. I love you Khushi.. Won’t you?”

“Shall I ask my lover and tell you?” Khushi said smiling broadly at him

“Whattt” shouted a shocked Arnav.

“I will ask my lover”

“What?”

“Ask my lover?”

“Who?” asked a broken Arnav.

“My lover” said Khushi stressing the words.

“Just now you said you don’t believe in love. Then How?” asked  Arnav running his hand over his hair..

“I said I don’t like love. But I never said I don’t have a lover” asked Khushi looking at him..

“You are kidding right?”

“Of course Noo. Im serious”

“Don’t fool around”

“Don’t trust me right?. One second” saying she called someone asking that person to meet her in the same place where they were.

Both Arnav and Khushi was waiting for that someone.

“What’s happening here Khushi?” asked Arnav.

“See Arnav.. I get a lot of proposal Like this.”

“Whatt?”

“You know, times are bad. Not everyone is bad. If I say no to them, I might become an acid attack victim for him. god.. I can’t face it. So I will let him love me from his side. But In return, I’ll torment him till I get the next proposal in the name of lover. I will make him regret for proposing me. He won’t be able to escape.. My current sweetheart will come now” said Khushi smiling evilly at him

Arnav laughed hearin this…

‘She is crazy’ thought Arnav.

“Look there” Said Khushi eye at his direction.

He turned to his back, only to see a man with specs coming..

“He’s always on time, But today he is late by two minutes.. May be traffic”

Arnav moved towards him… The man looked at him with wide eyes. He removed his specs and rubbed his eyes to confirm whether he was standing there for real.

“Is he?” asked the man..

Khushi nodded smiling at him.

“Has he proposed?”

Khushi again nodded..

“Oh bro.. give me your hand.. *taking his hand*.. you are my god… Oh god.. I have to share it with so many people.. I need to treat at least 1000 people. Bro, you have to attend the treat for sure.” said the man..

Arnav looked at him like what the..

The man turned to Khushi and said folding his hands before her…

“Good bye to you.. and a very very big good bye to your love”

Khushi burst out laughing.. Arnav was looking at the man who was coming towards him

“Bro, you life is going to be great after this” said with sarcastic laugh.. His mobile rang..

“This bell confirms it.. See you brother.. careful” saying he went off speaking through the phone saying something that sounds like, ‘I have escaped from her’.

Arnav looked at her.

“What is this Khushi?.. He is speaking like this”

“I already told you na.. What he said is true. 2 months ago, he said,you are my everthing, you are my angel.. All humbug. These are people who fall for physical appearances. Time pass. There was no love” said Khushi.

Arnav’s expression was worth to watch.

“But Khushi, I Love you.”

“Arrghh.. Why do you start it again?.. Leave that”

“but I love you”

“You heard what he said. Do you want it?”

“Because I like you. I love you Khushi”

“Ok you love me. that’s your fate. But deal is a deal”

“Deal?.. What’s it?”

“Till my next proposal,  you have to love me like this. If you try to escape….” said Khushi showing that she will strangle him to death.

“Noooooo.. Don’t do that.. Ok deal”said Arnav agreeing to her condition.

That’s it… Now Arnav’s tragic of love has started.. till now It has been A magic to him
